Yet another Wat (Buddhist temple). this one in Phuket. Note the lotus buds as offerings. They give you a packet with three lotus buds, a candle, and a square of gold leaf to press on the buddha. It is very spiritual and lovely. Actually, the entrance with dragons pic is a Chinese Taoist temple. There were 30,000 Chinese in Phuket area, all working in tin mines or as merchants so lots of Chinese influence in the architecture.
